We offer two experiences, we come to you or you come to us!
Forget the driving and having one person not be able to enjoy a glass or two of delicious Sicilian wine as we will bring everything to you. The table will be set, a Sicilian meal cooked freshly for you with a Sicilian wine pairing and all explained by Emilia herself. The kitchen will be left spotless, as if we weren’t even there so you can simply enjoy a restaurant experience in the comfort of your own surroundings.
If you are looking for a change of scenery join us in the historic UNESCO baroque town of Scicli for a home restaurant experience. Stay with Emilia and visit her in her home where she will cook personally for you a Sicilian lunch or dinner with all Sicilian natural wines. A moment to relax and discover the real version of Sicily through its food and wine whilst dining in a local Sicilian family home.

About your host
Our Founder: Although Emilia’s experience takes her from cooking for the royal family in London, to a 3 Michelin star patisserie in Paris and a luxury 5 star hotel in Milan with a lot of fresh pasta making, Emilia has chosen to return back to her roots in Sicilian cuisine. <,/p> Emilia cooks dishes she learnt growing up from her Nonni “Come una volta” (how they used to it) using only locally sourced ingredients from Sicily, including Sicilian natural wine but always with her professional training and discipline behind her dishes.

What happens on the day

We come to you:
- Emilia will arrive around 1 or 2 hours before sitting down for the meal to set the table and organize herself in the kitchen.
- Please note* saucepans, plates, table settings, glasses, cutlery etc need to be provided by the accommodation, Emilia will bring anything specific she requires with her.
- Emilia will prepare most of the menu beforehand during the day and cook and finish the dishes at your location so you can enjoy your day before she arrives to cook for you.
- Once dessert is served and the kitchen is clean Emilia will leave you to enjoy the rest of your evening. You come to us:
- Relax and enjoy a walk around the historic centre and beauty of Scicli before meeting Emilia in her home where she will host and cook for you a long Sicilian lunch or dinner.

Location
Sicily- Emilia lives in Scicli and often cooks in the surrounding areas of Modica, Ragusa, Pozzalo, Ispica & Donnafugata however she is also happy to go further afar but there will be an additional cost for travel time and petrol.

How it works
- We choose a date & time together to have the experience.
- Emilia will send you a suggested menu based on your requirements (fish/meat etc) and a price based on the type of menu.
- Emilia will pair the wines based on the menu, using only Sicilian natural wines
- Send Emilia your exact address and she will drive to you just before the experience starts to set the table and to finish the preparation of the dishes for you
